Privacy policy

Account data: email address, display name, plan and quota counters.

Content you send: prompts, attached course files and folders, and the answers Kairo returns. Files are converted to text for processing.

Generated videos: stored in a private bucket and served only through short-lived signed links tied to your account.

Product analytics: anonymous usage events such as a generation started or a plan page viewed, used to improve the product.

Kairo never receives, sees or stores card numbers. Payments run on a certified payment provider's hosted checkout. We only keep the status of your subscription and the plan it unlocks.

To deliver the service you asked for (contract), to keep quotas and trials fair (legitimate interest), to comply with accounting duties (legal obligation), and to send optional product emails (consent).

Prompts and extracted text are sent to our AI provider to produce your result. They are not used to train public models by Kairo. Do not upload data you are not allowed to share.

Generation history stays until you delete it, item by item or all at once, from your workspace. Videos stay until you delete them or close your account. Account data is removed within 30 days of account deletion, except records we must keep for accounting.

You can access, correct, export or delete your data, object to processing and withdraw consent at any time. Use the data and opt-out page or write to privacy@kairo.app.

Data is hosted on providers with standard contractual clauses where transfers happen. Access is protected by row level security so each account can only reach its own rows.
